About

Thank you so much for visiting my page!

My name is Katrina Kirchner. I am a child of God, a wife, daughter, sister, aunt, friend, soon to be mother, and registered nurse. We all have a unique story and I believe our stories are powerful. I believe we are meant to share life with one another, encourage one another, and inspire one another to find meaning, purpose, and hope in the individual story that God is writing in each of our lives. Through my journey as a twenty-something, I have gained wisdom, insight, and a deep wellspring of encouragement from the Lord through trials I’ve walked through that continue to shape me into the woman I am today, and the woman I am becoming. As I near the start of a new decade and season of life as a thirty-something, I look forward to all that God has for me that is a direct result of the preparation and work He’s done in me and my heart over the last 10 years. For quite some time, I have felt led to share about what I’ve walked through, but primarily how God has graciously carried me, what He has spoken to me, taught me, and continues to teach me along the way. I trust that my years of stress, ongoing chronic pains, and myriad of health challenges are achieving in me what God has purposed for me. I trust He is working all things together for my good (Romans 8:28). I have long prayed for healing from my many ailments, and whether my ultimate healing comes here on earth or in heaven, I know my healing is coming, because He who promised is faithful. I’ve titled my blog “Healing Waters” to encompass so much more than my personal longing for physical healing. In Jesus alone can we be fully healed: body, mind, and soul. My desire is that as you read through my posts, you’ll be drawn to the water that never runs dry, and find hope and encouragement in your own story.

“Come, come to the water
All who are thirsty
Come and be filled
Come, come to the river
brothers and sisters
Come and be healed”
-Come to the Water, Kristian Stanfill & Passion Worship

“But blessed are those who trust in the Lord
and have made the Lord their hope and confidence.
They are like trees planted along a riverbank,
with roots that reach deep into the water.
Such trees are not bothered by the heat
or worried by long months of drought.
Their leaves stay green,
and they never stop producing fruit.” -Jeremiah 17:7-8
